Hola Familia!,

        Well. I am safe and sound in Antelope California at the mission office. My Mission President and his wife are awesome and basically the nicest people I have EVER met. Today has been really great so far. We met all of the couple missionaries. (We have three in our mission) And had a bit of an orientation. I only have a few minutes. I don't know who my trainer is yet. President Weston is meeting with the trainers right now and I should know within the next hour who my trainer is and where I'm going!!!   Preparation days are on Mondays so you might not hear back from me until then!  On our drive from Sacramento I realized that this isn't entirely what I was expecting... Haha. We passed fields of sunflowers and saw peacocks just strutting their stuff on the side of the street. This is no San Diego that's for sure.  I am excited for the adventure ahead and can't wait to really get started!

I must give all the other 17 Elders a chance now... LOVE YOU!
